So you want to hear a story eh? One without several months of waiting between the chapters, without outrageous download times, and that can be carried round to a friends house in your pocket? Well have I got a story for you!
Yes fellow Vault Hunters the time has come. Telltale's "handsomely" crafted five part adventure can soon be yours to own on disc as a physical copy of the game will release for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, & PS4 this year on April 26th.
Tales from the Borderlands is the newest instalment in the Borderlands franchise as told by Telltale studios; famous for The Walking Dead Seasons 1 & 2 on console as well as The Wolf Among us, Game of Thrones, & most recently Minecraft: Story Mode.
Tales from the borderlands is the furthest forward in time instalment in the Borderlands narrative with episodes 1,2 & 3 taking place before the framing device of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and the following 2 demonstrating the most recent story developments.
Over the course of the arc the player will follow:
Rhys; The Hyperion corporate climber on a mission to reach the top, no matter how difficult the task.
Fiona: A con-woman with a heart of gold and a tongue sharp enough to cut Eridium.
as well as a whole host of supporting characters both new and familiar from the series!
Overall it may be the funniest game in both the Borderlands or Telltale line-up, and somehow manages to pull it off with an interesting story and some emotional moments as well that will have a large impact on the future of the Borderlands tale. As a long time fan of both myself I can highly recommend checking it out. but before you take my word for it; check out the trailer:
