I thought i would refresh your mind on this crazy film that has officially entered production, with the main character being played by Micheal Fassbender:
The movie will be produced by New Regency and 20th century fox and have a planned release date for December 21st 2016. It will be directed by Justin Kurzel who worked with the actor in the movie Macbeth soon to be released.
Ubisoft seems to be heading towards movieing (this is a new word and yes it is legit) their best games with projects in the pipeline for games such as Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon.
I think this is a great idea and the storyline in which the game has got millions of people hooked to and buying the game every year would be a epic movie. As long as they get it right now if the budget is there then yes i think this movie can do well as will the others they have planned but they will need to get it right. Which can be a catch 22 i dont think this will be a movie you can go and watch with the Mrs but for the fans of the games i think it would be a great addition to the movie roster coming out this year and 2016. Also great actor but they will need a good support cast. We shall see more information will be coming out about this and i will keep you guys updated.
